Welfare Activities A Welfare Cell is maintained under the Audit Officer to attend to the welfare needs of the staff. The welfare activities of the Cell interalia includes (i) Providing first-aid facilities to officials. (ii) Helping in removal of grievances and improvement of working conditions in the office. (iii) Proper liaison with other offices for arranging sports and other recreational activities. (iv) Liaison with CGHS authorities about medical facilities. (v) Liaison with Central Government Employees Co-ordination Committee. First Aid 75 employees were provided first-aid treatment. Recreation club Recreation Club is common for both the Audit Offices. The Club has balance of        Rs.677654/- and received contribution of Rs.64426/- during the year 2008-09 and        Rs. 225009/- were utilized against the grant and remaining in saving bank account. Badminton Tournament 2009-2010 held at Chennai.  Facility for ladies To facilitate lady staff members long felt need of a ladies' room in the office, a ladies room viz "MEERA BAI NIKUNJ" has been developed. Benevolent Fund (BF) There is a common Benevolent Fund for all the Four offices viz. Principal Accountant General (Civil Audit), Principal Accountant General (A&E), Accountant General (Commercial & Receipt Audit) & Sr. Deputy Accountant General (Local Bodies Audit & Accounts). During the year 2008-09, office of the Principal Accountant General contributed Rs. 36,769.00 for the fund. Smt. Mohan Kanwar W/o Shri Bhanwar Singh Rathore, AAO, Smt. Champa Devi wife of Shri Kripal Singh, Record Sorter were paid Rs. 10,000/- each during the quarter ended 31^st December 2009. Special Distress Relief Fund (SDRF) The Principal Accountant General (Civil Audit) administers the committee of Special Distress Relief Fund for both the Audit Offices. During the year 2008-09, amount of Rs.75, 447.00 contributed for the fund. Smt. Mohan Kanwar W/o Shri Bhanwar Singh Rathore, AAO, Smt. Champa Devi wife of Shri Kripal Singh, Record Sorter were paid Rs. 15,000/- each during the quarter ended 31^st December 2009.
