The Principal Accountant General (Civil Audit) is generally responsible for the efficient functioning of the office and in particular, for the efficient administration of the establishment of his office. She is also in direct supervisory charge of Internal Audit and Report sections. She is assisted by six Group Officers who head the Administration, Local Bodies Audit & Accounts, Works and Project, Inspection Civil-I, Inspection Civil-II and Inspection Civil-III  groups.
