Sh. Sanjeev Saluja, IAAS

Sh. Sanjeev Saluja has taken over charge of Principal A ccountant General Civil Audit Rajasthan on 24th April 2006.
Sh. Saluja joined IAAS in July 1975 and thereafter served in various capacities within the department and outside on deputation. He also served as an International Civil Servant in Food and Agricultural Organisation at Iraq during 2001 - 2004. Sh Saluja is a post graduate in Physics and did Masters in Developmental Finance from Birmingham in 1988-89. After joining as PAG – Rajasthan, Sh. Saluja would commence his fourth posting at Jaipur. Earlier also he served in AG Rajasthan at Jaipur as Asstt. A ccountant General (Aug 1978 – March 1979), Dy A ccountant General (Apr 1979 – Apr 1981), Sr Dy A ccountant General (Nov 89 – Mar 91) and as A ccountant General (June 1993 to May 1997).

CAG Nominated as Secretary General of ASOSAI

“The 35 th Governing Board of the Asian Organisation of Supr eme Audit Institutions (ASOSAI) unanimously nominated Shri Vijayendra N. Kaul, Comptroller & Auditor General of India as Secretary General of ASOSAI for approval by the Xth ASOSAI Ass embly to be held in Shanghai, China in Sept ember 2006. 

This will be the third su ccessive term for the Comptroller & Auditor General of India as Secretary General, extending from the period 2006-09. 

The meeting of the 35 th Governing Board of ASOSAI was held in Kunming City in the Peoples’ s Republic of China”.
